quinto_valpantena_sp6_08The new link road between the “Lessini” road (close to the Marzana-Grezzana bypass) and the East-Verona bypass is a C1 road type. The proposed solution is almost completely along the Pantena river to mitigate the environmental impact and also to limit the expropriation. One-way spur route, roundabouts and several other typologies of links with the “Lessini” road were analyzed to achieve the best solution. The project involves two single span bridges (40 m and 50 m) across the river, a road underpass 130 m long under the East-Verona bypass and minor jobs such as hydraulic works and retaining walls.
